Student Ministries
OUR YOUTH MINISTRY EXISTS IN ORDER TO HELP
STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES BOTH KNOW CHRIST
AND BRING PEOPLE TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST,
TO GROW TO BE LIKE CHRIST IN THOUGHT, WORD AND DEED,
AND TO SERVE CHRIST WITH THEIR LIVES.
The refuge is our mid-week meeting that happens on Wednesday Night at 6:45 p.m. throughout the school year. Our focus for this night is on outreach to students in our community that don’t know Christ and motivation for those who do. We have fun, praise God and tackle topics that are relevant to their lives.
Fellowship
Student Ministry A.M. is our Sunday Morning meeting
that meets at 9:45 a.m. It’s
focus is mainly on students who know Christ and want
to spend time praising Him in musical worship and learning
about Him through the study of His Word.
Focus Groups are meetings that are lead completely by our Volunteer Mentoring Staff. Each staff member develops a focus group out of his or her small group that has been assigned for Wednesday night. The purpose of this meeting is to offer students who want to grow deeper a supporting group that spends time in accountability, prayer and an applicable faith developing study of God’s Word.
Our CORE VALUES are:
-
Biblical, applicable teaching.
-
God-honoring relationships.
-
All-encompassing worship. (Offering our voices, minds and lives.)
-
Active, relational evangelism.
-
Fun, accepting, encouraging fellowship. (Within Biblical parameters.)
