Cori was born in California and lived in Minnesota before moving to Fort Dodge, Iowa, which she considers her hometown. Her parents became Christians shortly before moving to Iowa, and Cori accepted Christ shortly after their move.
Cori has a degree in journalism from Iowa State University. She was an editorial assistant at the Associated Press in Des Moines and then joined the FBC staff as a ministry assistant from 2003-2005. She spent several years as a stay-at-home mom and rejoined the FBC staff in 2015 as the worship and communications assistant. Cori and her husband, Ben, have been married since 2000. They have three children and are licensed for foster care. They live on an acreage near Oskaloosa. Cori enjoys spending time with her family, reading, writing and gardening.

M-W-F from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a few less hours during summer months.
