Visiting Us

We love visitors at Fellowship Bible Church! We also know that most people like to know what to expect before they visit a church. The information below will help answer some questions you might have, such as where we are located, our service times, where to park and what to wear.

Location

FBC is located at 1000 A Avenue West in Oskaloosa (see map).

Service Times

There are two Sunday morning worship services, one at 8:30 a.m. and one at 11:00 a.m. Each service lasts about one hour, with time for announcements, praise and worship singing, and Bible teaching. An evening service is available at 6:00 p.m.

Parking

Parking is available in a lot to the west of our main building. It is busiest during the Sunday School hour and the 11:00 a.m. service. If the lot is full, parking is available on some streets around FBC, as well as in the Mahaska Rural Water lot and the Kwik Lube lot to the west of FBC.

Entrance

The best entrance to use is the double glass door on the west side of FBC, just off the parking lot. (See picture above.) Once inside, there are Greeters and Ushers to help you find a seat or locate a classroom.

Dress

You are welcome to “come as you are!” You will see a range of attire at FBC—from jeans to suits and ties, with most people somewhere in between.

Children

A nursery for infants and 1-year-olds is provided during all services and Sunday School. A Toddler Room for kids age 2 and 3 is available during the morning worship services. Both the nursery and toddler room are located in the west basement.

Kids age 4 through 2nd grade are invited to participate in Children’s Church during the morning worship services. They sit with their parents during the beginning of the service and are dismissed to the west basement just before the message.
