Women's Ministries

Purpose Statement:

To communicate a true understanding of Jesus Christ and God's Word in an atmosphere of love so that others will respond to Him and lives will be changed to reach their full potential in Christ.

The Women's Ministry strives for balance with three areas of ministry: Spiritual/Discipleship, Service and Outreach.

Here are some ministries currently available for women:

LADIES BIBLE STUDIES

"Discerning the Voice of God" by Priscilla Shirer, daughter of Tony Evans, is a study designed to help participants determine if it is really God's voice you are hearing.

"Gripped by the Greatness of God" by James Mac Donald who writes "To know God at all is to watch Him explode any box we but Him in with His terror, majesty and indescribable wonder."

  At FBC — Pat Campbell, Leader — Childcare provided

"First Place 4 Health Study - Begin with Christ" by Carole Lewis - is a weight loss Bible study centered on the Scriptures.

• Tuesdays - September 29 thru December 15 at 6:30 pm
  At FBC Sunday School building — Bonnie Van Weelden, Leader — No childcare available

Prayer and Share — A prayer time held the third Monday of every month. The meeting location rotates between the homes of those involved, so watch the bulletin for this month’s hostess.

Memory Makers — Scrapbooking time on the second Friday of every month from 7 p.m. to midnight in the Sunday School Building. Come and go as you can!

FBC Womens' Retreat — Nov. 7th at Stoney Point Barn, Reasnor, IA.
