Children's Ministries
Nursery
A warm, caring and well-supervised nursery is located in the west basement. It is available for infants and 1-year-olds during all worship services, Sunday School and many special events.
Toddler Room
The Toddler Room is provided for 2- and 3-year-olds. It is located in the west basement and is available during morning worship services. There are Sunday School classes for kids age 2 and 3 during the Sunday School hour at 9:45 a.m.
Children's Church
Children's Church is available for kids age 4 through 2nd grade during morning worship services. Children remain in the sanctuary for the beginning of the worship service and are dismissed to the west basement just before the message.
Club 5:19
Ephesians 5:19 says to "... sing and make music in your heart to the Lord." Club 5:19 is a time for kids age 3 through 6th grade to sing fun songs with their friends. It meets in the west basement each Sunday morning after the first worship service and before Sunday School at 9:35 a.m. Join the fun and sing to the Lord!
AWANA
AWANA meets most Wednesday nights during the school year
from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. Boys and girls age 3 to 6th grade participate
in three clubs:
- Cubbies (3-year-olds through Pre-K)
- Sparks (K - 2nd grade)
- T&T (3rd - 6th grade)
The kids learn Bible verses, sing songs and play games.
Cubbies and Sparks meet at FBC. The T&T Club meets at New Hope Community (formerly Jefferson School) at 308 5th Ave. West.
Vacation Bible School
A fun week of VBS is held each summer for children in Kindergarten through 6th
grade. The children learn Bible stories, watch puppet presentations, sing songs,
play games and make crafts.
